Recently, the Unit No.2 of Xinjiang Huadian Hami 2×1 million kilowatt Coal Power Project has successfully completed its 168-hour trial operation, representing a new milestone advancement in China’s first “Desert and Barrens” new energy transmission project.
In the construction, HBIS Wusteel delivered its high-end container steel replacing imported one, exclusively used for the manufacturing of the 1 million kilowatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical pure-fired high-alkali coal boilers in first batch of domestic, and 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical indirect air-condensing steam turbine units and other core and key equipment required for the project. Through technological innovation and progress, HBIS Wusteel continuously enhance its core competitiveness, focusing on the demands of high-end customers and making great efforts in product innovation, to achieve the goal of researching and developing , production, and technical reserve are ahead of the market. HBIS accelerates the transformation of steel products from "raw material level" to "material level", and constantly improves the value and profitability of its products.
In order to assist to build a "new benchmark for green electricity in the Gobi", HBIS Wusteel and other participating constructors collaborative customized a production plan for the steel plates required for the manufacturing of core and key equipment such as the 1 million kilowatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical pure-fired Xinjiang high-alkali coal boiler and the 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical indirect air-cooled condensing steam turbine unit. During the production process, scientific and technological personnel innovated the technology, added 3 key technical requirements in the smelting and steel rolling links, strictly tracked the process execution. Our team overcame industry problems such as the easy fluctuation of the surface quality of steel plates, and ultimately ensured that all performance indicators of the steel plates fully met the customer's requirements, achieving on-time delivery of the products.
Xinjiang Huadian Hami 2×1 million kilowatt coal-fired power project is an important part of the gobi energy base in the northern foot of the Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang. It is one of the first batch of units in China's first "sand, desert and wasteland" new energy transmission base and one of the first power source projects of "Xinjiang Electricity to Chongqing". The Gobi Energy Base in the northern foot of the Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang has promoted the high proportion of new energy transmission through the "integrated model of wind, solar and thermal energy and energy storage", which is of great significance for optimizing the allocation of power resources and promoting coordinated regional development.
